RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver consistent sales and profit growth by building loyalty and providing a differentiated
experience for customers through best-in-class service and selling.
-Maximize sales potential through business analysis
-Use VSBA provided business tools along with personal insight to
maximize understanding and improve results
-Recommend solutions to business opportunities through comprehension of
complexities and relationships among opportunities/issues
-Create customer intimacy through spending time in stores, reinforcing the use of
company provided training tools and personally demonstrating how to foster a customer centric
culture
-Ensure stores meet visual merchandising and marketing execution strategies at all times
and are maximizing productivity
-Analyze business and create action area plans to address identified sales/execution
opportunities, integrating store visit observations and weekly store level sales results
-Create a disciplined culture focused on flawless execution of VSBA processes
and procedures and initiatives while identifying and communicating to leadership
opportunities for improvements within said programs
-Optimize traffic through review of store rosters and coaching means of improvement
Build high performance store leadership teams through a commitment to operational excellence and by demonstrating inspiring leadership.
-Source, recruit and hire top talent and build a strong internal bench/succession plan
-Build talent by assessing strengths and developmental opportunities, encouraging and
discussing career development and providing opportunites for learning through
delegating responsibility and following up on execution
-Consistently use performance management tools/processes
-Inspire a shared vision by setting clear goals and fostering a positive and rewarding work
environment
-Understand and demonstrate VSBA company values
-Build Brand engagement:
??-Create and promote a team environment that allows each associate to perform at an optimum level
??-Create a culture of honesty and mutual respect
??-Provide a safe working environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Customer focused
-Leadership versatility
- High degree of emotional intelligence and multi-cultural sensitivity. Can identify,
assess and manage emotions of oneself and others
- Understands when to take teaching/coaching role versus a commanding/directive
role versus a hands-off/delegating role. Can lead, influence and coach while
being a humble team player
- Demonstrates flexibility and resilience during periods of organizational ambiguity
and change
-Strong communication skills
- Uses communication skills that promote understanding, learning, information
exchange and problem solving
- Fosters open dialogue by soliciting input, listening, clarifying and being open to different perspectives
-Values-based leader who represents VSBA in a positive manner
-Ability to manage complex and competing priorities
-Ability to analyze business, prioritize opportunities, and build simple strategies to improve
results
-Strong attention to detail
-Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Outlook
-Can handle moderate physical activity (handling objects </= 20 kg)
-Able to work nights/week-ends/holidays based on business requirements
