About Risk Assurance
Business today is increasingly complex - from the way organisations are managed and structured, through increasing integration with business partners and service providers, to the ever greater levels of reliance placed on underlying information systems and business processes. In addition, new regulations - domestic and international - are placing a greater emphasis on the effectiveness of internal controls, and this often requires independent assurance. You will provide value-added insights that help to improve system and business control effectiveness across various organisations.

Job responsibilities:

You will be working with a team of sustainability experts providing both consulting and assurance services to clients on various issues relating to environmental, health and safety, CSR, carbon, product strategy and supply chain risk management.

Key Responsibilities
· Business Development: (for manager level):
· Develop business opportunities, grow and maintain relationships with existing and prospective PwC clients;
· Identify opportunities and manage commercial activities with the support of leading partners, including technical and financial discussions;
· Seek opportunities to develop innovative solutions to assist clients to implement sustainability through their business operations.

Consulting & Project Management:
Manage the daily operations of delivering projects, including:· Compliance with internal procedures (independence and Risk Management);
· Management of client relationship, including financial and technical discussions;
· Team coaching providing necessary leadership and content expertise;
· Execute on-the-ground work, research and implementation as required to support the projects success.

Collaborative Team Leadership:·Build and maintain effective communications with PwC global network and various teams of the Chinese firm (X-loss activities);
·Work collaboratively with the leading partner to continue to grow, develop and implement the SCC development strategy and associated tools and processes;
·Coach and develop PwC staff in Shanghai.

Strategy and External Representation:· Participate in the SCC strategic development for the China / HK firm;
· Where appropriate opportunities arise, present, promote and develop the PwC presence;
· Participate in the writing of appropriate thought leadership content for a variety of audiences.
Requirements:

EHS manager

PwC China seeks EHS manager with at least 7 years working experience in different industries e.g. mining, oil and gas and chemical. The manager will help spearhead the growth of the environmental, health, and safety management consulting services. You are expected to be versatile and agile with good business track records in one or more of the following fields:· EHS due diligence for merger and acquisitions;
· EHS Compliance, Management Systems;
· Environment and Social Impact Assessment;
· Experience in carbon footprint/emission is a plus.

You are expected to have solid knowledge and experiences on local and international regulations and standards, typical management system (e.g., ISO14001 and OHSAS18001) and best practices at MNCs.
Requirements:· An effective team player and a good communicator;
· Bachelor degree or above in environmental related field;
· Excellent English skill (written and spoken); and
· Effective project management skills.

Individuals of lesser experience may be considered for the position of EHS senior.

Senior EHS Consultant

PwC China seeks Senior EHS Consultant to support the growth of the environmental, health, and safety management consulting services. You are expected to have at least 4 years working experience in different industries and rich experience in due diligence and compliance programs.
You will be responsible for project planning, project management and execution and assist with business development and proposals.


Requirements:

· Energetic, passionate and fast learner;
· Excellent communication skills;
· Excellent command of English (written and spoken);
· Enjoy travelling and working at client sites; and
· Bachelor degree or above in environmental related field is a plus.
