ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Purchasing for all ODM finished products for sensor/smoke alarm/video door entry line-of-business being developed
• Negotiate, optimize and reduce the total cost to ensure best competitiveness from day 1 till end-of-life
• Negotiate and optimize supply chain and logistics terms & conditions, including MOQ and lead time
• Drive contract negotiation & finalization with suppliers. Set up contract with legal department
• Identify gaps in terms of suppliers between needs and reality and conduct marketing activities to drive and keep the best-in class supplier panel and sourcing strategy
• Align OCP project sourcing target with the current smart space purchasing strategy, focusing on strategic suppliers
• Push co-development with suppliers and early supplier involvement, bring supplier market view to projects
• Assess the Purchasing needs (incl. resources) for the projects in coordination with other functions and the project team
• Leading the project execution to launch the product according BLMP
• Deliver the Purchasing activities as per BLMP, manage the cost commitment, timely deliveries and Supplier Management
• Purchasing Support to projects developed in EcoBuilding Smart Space business and Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for OTM, PMP and PEP
• Drive supplier on productivity – QVE (Quality Value Extraction) through suppliers and with support from internal resources
• Lead and drive supplier evaluation and development
• Identify new technologies required for new designs.
• Understand product design/function to guide design options to best available supplier
• Provide local market intelligence and align w/ project requirements to build an efficient sourcing strategies
• Competitive analysis is a must
• Monthly reporting on KPI

Degree in International Business / Master or appropriate experience

Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain or equivalent education on top of commercial background is a clear advantage

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a purchasing team of a Multinational corporation
• At ease in functional reporting (doted / dual line reporting) as well as hierarchical mode (direct / solid line) in large matrix organizations
• Experienced & independent leader in ODM/OEM purchasing
• Project management
