Essential responsibilities and duties

The Program Logistics Engineer is responsible for organizing the logistics, coordinate the data processing related to the projects and to respect the pre-established budgets.
The main missions of the role are:
o Define the Logistics diagrams
o Develop the Logistics hypotheses (material flow diagram and preliminary data processing)
o Validate the hypothesis of Logistics costing
o Integrate the strategy mid-term with the impacts on logistics, production
o Be the primary contact for the customer regarding the logistics of the project
o Participate in the project review meetings
o Define the storage requirements
o Control the implementation of the logistics means
o Study the logistics costs associated with the processes
o Develop the packaging prototypes with our suppliers
o Define the specifications of the preliminary packaging for mass production
o Prepare the specifications for the Purchasing Department
o Support launch team on program material planning during launch period
o In charge of whole program’s logistic function launch base on Faurecia program management process

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be:
o Minimum education level: Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Experience :
o Ideally first experience in Supply Chain management.

Skills and competencies
o Good computer skills
o Strong verbal and written communications skills
o Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
o Good communications and Leadership skills
