Objective:
Making new customers and manage them in a new sales territory
Duties and responsibilities:
· To make an annual planning of intended activities resulting in targets for sales and gross profit margins, in line with company objectives, for the various product groups of the company.
· Making appointments with prospects to promote and sell our products.
· Maintain contact with existing customers by means of phone, e-mail or physical visits
· Systematic approach of prospects, in line with plans
· Participating in trade shows/ exhibitions when required
· Weekly reporting about activities by means of the Weekly Reports and Contact Registration Reports, to be submitted to the sales support department every week on Fridays.
· To participate in sales meetings in which achieved results will be discussed and market developments, competition, prices, new products are subject for discussion when needed
· To realize sales and gross profit margins targets in line with agreed plans.
Profile:
· Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in an industrial, manufacturing B2B environment, preferably in the packing industry or shipping related products.
· Extrovert, strong personality that can build and maintain business relationships with foreign as well as with Chinese customers
· Loyal, ambitious to educate him/herself for a long term career with the company
· Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Mandarin
· Interest in and aptitude for solving technical problems
· Being creative and think outside the box
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills
· Strong communication and persuasive skills
· Ability to take initiative and manage time effectively
· Ability to effectively and self-disciplined work autonomously
· Valid drivers license
· Preferably has experience or is working from a home office
