职位描述：
Job Title: Engineer, Product Verification (Harman Outsourcing)
Department: Global Quality
Reports To: Manager, Product Verification

Essential Responsibilities:
We are looking for Product Verification Engineer for Smart Audio, Connected Home, APPs software and function testing expert to join our team in Shenzhen, China. The responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
? Be responsible for Smart Audio, Connected Home and APPs product test preparation and execution.
? The individual will work with both Development Designers and other engineers to develop test plan, execute test cases, report and track defects, and provide status report throughout a product life-cycle.
? Create test plan, schedule test resources, track deliverables, and communicate test progress and issues to the product team.
? Collaborate with other test/development counterparts to ensure functional coverage is sufficient;
? Develops test case content and execute test cases/scenarios;
? Performs initial problem determination and diagnosis when issues arise during execution, and opens and tracks defect against those problems;
? Requires the understanding deeply of common testing tools (Bugzilla…).
? Report status, and provides feedback on usability, serviceability and documentation.


Basic Qualifications:
? Bachelor of Science in a Computer Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
? >1 years managing a product Smart audio/Connected home/APPS Software and Function testing.
? Experience developing and executing product verification test ideally in the audio (DTS, Dolby, PCM, AAC, WMA, MP3), video (HDMI, BD, DVD, Stream media), AMP, WIFI/Blue tooth, iOS/Android APPs. Consumer electronics industry and embedded system architecture.
? Has experience on schedule test resources, track deliverables, and communicate test progress and issues to the product team
? Proficient in the use of Windows based desktop applications
? Strong capability in design test plan, design test case, executes tests, data analysis and report.Bi-lingual fluency in Mandarin and English: excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
? Experience with automated test scripting is a plus
