Job Purpose

The Business Partner have an important role to play in supporting the segment P&O Head and/or Senior Business Partners. A primary goal of the Business Partner is deliver successful signature P&O and unit specific projects that cater to associate needs and enables overall unit effectiveness as well as deliver strategic programs at a local level to enable consistent and high quality service delivery in alignment with Mars Five Principles.

Key Responsibilities/职位描述

• Unit Effectiveness – drive efficiency across the P&O Operating Model by facilitating the adoption of Mars Signature Process, offering strategic guidance to unit-specific projects, providing P&O support to units directly, interfacing with segment and corporate teams, and communicating emerging business needs to CoEs.


• Enabling Operations – guide, support, and position the MyP&O team, CoE and Line Managers to most effectively and efficiently serve Mars Associates.


• Business Leadership – partner with the leadership teams to establish short- and long-term goals to drive business success, provide leadership to the business while maintaining strategic alignment of the people agenda with the business strategy, and ensure Associate advocacy.


• Talent and Organizational Health – gain alignment on the people agenda and developing talent while driving Associate engagement; understand the ‘pulse’ of the business in order to strengthen the health of the organization and ensure ‘fit for purpose’ organization design with the right people in the right roles

Qualifications/任职条件

• 5 or more years of progressive P&O experience, P&O Generalist experience working at senior levels across different segments


• Solid knowledge of global and local policies and practices and understand their application in solving business needs and ability to provide guidance


• Effective in building relationship at all levels, strong consulting skills and ability to influence decisions to a positive business outcome, good business acumen / business experience


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision making skills, using a comprehensive approach with strong attention to detail


• Ability to effectively manage and work within ambiguity and prioritize on business needs and resource


• Excellent oral and written communication skills
