Position Summary:
This position is for a mechanization engineer working on sensor applications. The responsibilities are developing equipment for engineering lab or production line, fixing issues in equipment, and sometimes making equipment plan. This position requires strong technical fundamentals, good organization/documentation, statistical data analysis, and strong problem solving skills. A high level of interaction with team members around the world is required.
Position Requirements/Skills:
? Good fundamental mechanical knowledge
? Understanding of basic electronic principals with knowledge of common signal types (Analog, PWM, maybe SPI or LIN)
? Experience in programming (ideally LabVIEW) with a good sense of how to develop algorithms and debug code.
? Basic understanding of sensors and measurement systems .
? Experience with equipment development (safety circuits, established techniques for making common aspects of equipment)
? Experience with SolidWorks for fixture design
? Good understanding of data analysis / processing tools (ie Excel, Minitab, or alternative)
? Knowledge of basic electrical circuits, microelectronic assembly, statistical methods, process control fundamentals and product test processes.
? Strong communication skills, written and verbally (English language skills preferred)
? Capable of setting priorities, being proactive and achieving results.
? Ability to develop unique, differentiated solutions to complex problems - strong problem solving skills.
? Ability to clearly present testing concepts to customers, managers and peers.
? Ability to positively influence and build relationships with global team members
? Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment with complex project attributes.
The skill not required but preferable:
? Knowledge of vibration systems
? Sensor calibration knowledge
? Knowledge of motion based systems
? GR&R
? Specific equipment operation (ie Characterization....)

? Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 5+ years mechanization experience in equipment development
? Masters Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 3+ years mechanization experience in equipment development
