About Advisory
Our Advisory practice, further divided into Consulting and Deals, has grown in size, scope and scale. Today, our clients engage us to help solve their strategic and day-to-day problems. We help clients implement their business strategies by working with them to build effective organisations, innovate and grow, reduce their costs, manage crises, manage risk and navigate regulation, maximise their human resources, execute better deals, and restructure troubled businesses.

About Deals
We work together with clients to create greater value in their mergers, acquisitions, disposals and restructuring by helping them to:

· Develop the right strategy before the deal
· Execute their deals seamlessly
· Identify issues and points of negotiation and value
· Implement change strategies to deliver synergies and improvements after the deal

We also help clients assess the options available in troubled financial situations and advise on restructuring and maximising value.


Job responsibilities:
The responsibilities for new consultants vary depending on seniority, experience, and projects. In general, junior team members will focus more on individual project delivery, whereas senior team members will have greater responsibilities in terms of coaching, business development, and service development.

The key responsibilities are:
· Scope out projects;
· Carry out detailed analysis of target data, enabling the identification of key issues and opportunities;
· Interact with target management, developing an understanding of the business supporting the conclusions of your analysis;
· Develop and maintain relationships with clients, during the projects and as part of overall business development efforts;
· Produce reports and prepare key summary section;
· Identify deal issues and provide suggestions for solutions;
· Identify service opportunities and work with relevant functional specialists (across different Business Units/Lines of Services) to sell these opportunities to clients;
· Assist clients in deal structuring and documentation matters;
· Work closely with financial diligence, tax diligence and commercial diligence teams to develop and execute joint projects;
· Perform risk management procedures including drafting engagement letters and budgeting projects;
· Manage deliverables and project economics;
· Contribute to the development of the team and the firm, through coaching and training other team members;
· Develop our service offering to continuously match market requirements;
· Carry out business development activities.

Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree or above from a reputable Chinese university or foreign institution, preferably with specialization in Human Resources or related topics;
· Three to Five years of relevant experience in corporate HR departments such as hiring or firing people, staff communication etc., or Experienced in managing projects for MNC and domestic clients;
· Experience in due diligence and post-merger integration projects will be a strong plus;
· Strong knowledge in China labour laws and practices.
· Able to think strategically and to apply the appropriate HR intervention;
· Willing to travel;
· Excellent business sense and commercially aware;
· Native Mandarin speaker and excellent communication skills in English;

· Innovative, confident and mature;
· Bright, team player who can work effectively under pressure and independently.
