Reports to: Directly report to PEC Project Purchasing Manager; Functionally report to Solution Business Director
Responsible for: Solution Business Purchasing China

PURPOSE OF THE JOB (Summarize the purpose of this position to assess its expected contribution to the results of the organization)
· Provide professional purchasing support to solution business China and manage centralized commodity purchasing to support across all solution business
· Manage OG purchasing for power and energy solution business
· High visibility in the organization and quick wins

REGULAR RESPONSIBILITIES (Please list the main regular responsibilities of the position)
· Managing competitive bidding for project purchasing, including RFQ, quote analysis and negotiation
· Purchase contract review and contract term negotiation
· OG supplier management involving new vendor assessment, supplier database maintenance and periodic supplier performance review
· Sourcing as per project request
· Implementing purchasing process to ensure OG purchasing activities in compliance with and purchasing procedures and policies
· Centralized commodity purchasing management

Location: SECI Beijing
Travel frequency: A few days / month
Workload: Medium ~ High

1. PEC Power and Energy Solution Business Team, Tenders/Project Managers
2. Project Finance Team
3. Supplier Quality Management Team
4. Logistic team

OG suppliers - most are power panel builders

REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Ideal: Master degree of Procurement or Supply Chain Management or Business Administration. Bachelor is acceptable.

REQUIREMENT OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
· Understand project purchasing process
· 3~5 year project purchasing experience, preferably for solution business
· Have general knowledge and working experience of power distribution business
· Understand cost structure of power panels and able to do cost analysis
· Experienced at contract commercial terms and purchasing risk management
· Preferably understand Schneider Electric solution business.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Such as age, language, computer skills, etc.
- Strong communication & negotiation skills.
- Good team player with integrity.
- Self-motivated with high sense of responsibility.
- Customer oriented and results driven.
- Good command of Excel
- Good at English.
