Our Internal Firm Services (IFS) is a network of specialist support professionals who play a vital role in ensuring we have all the right resources, services and technology. Not all of us work directly with external clients. Our teams in IFS include: Administration, Branded Merchandise, Business Development, Finance, Global PwC Experience, Global Technology Solutions, Human Resources, Marketing & Communications, Office of General Counsel, Research, and Senior Partner Office.

Job Description & Responsibilities

We are looking for a marketing intern with enthusiasm in MarCom. His/her role will be mainly focus on assisting marketing manager to prepare and execute the Global event held in November and handle the follow up post event. The role will incorporate a number of daily responsibilities including:

  • Assist project owner to organize/ participate the event organizing team’s call, familiarize with each group’s responsibilities and follow up meeting minutes by facilitating the preparation process
  • Assist marketing manager to coordinates the design, layout, printing, and distribution of industry or competency brochures/thought leadership materials/branded merchandize and
    ensure all the PwC branded materials be cross-checked with the content, production and ready on-site
  • Work with online team for internal promotion in different channels if required
  • Assist project owner for the hotel, dining venue liason jobs for the event and help communicating with the vendor if needs event set up
  • Acting as a focus contact point between PwC and hotel for all the updates such as rooming list, delegate pack numbers, VIP inquiries, room set up, rehearsal time and techniques support
  • Give a regular update to marketing manager about the event preparation job list, including the collaboration effort with supporting departments internally
  • Assistant marketing manager to form a helpers’ group and conduct briefing meeting necessary on a time basis
  • Event on-site support

    Requirement:
  • Degree holder in Marketing, Communications, English, business or related discipline
  • Can contribute at least 3 days per week from on-boarding until end of August 2017
  • Internship experience in marketing/ communication/public relations/experience, ideally in an MNC environment and has experience in engaging a large event in the firm, and building effective relationships at all levels and have strong business awareness
  • A positive and willing-to-learn attitude/Enthusiasm for marketing that adapt to heavy-load
    task in a focus period
  • Ability to think laterally and multi-task, respond quickly
  • Strong organizational skills and able to work effectively under deadlines and juggle several assignments simultaneously
  • Well developed and professional interpersonal skills
  • No need to have excellent English in written, but should have fair skills in daily written communication and good spoken English
  • Good PPT/ Excel skills
