职位描述
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
1. Technical support and expertise
- Provide high-level technical support to sales engineers for “ENERGY EFFICIENCY” solutions and advanced services, to improve their know-how and professionalism and achieve customer satisfaction.
- Provide high-level technical support to sales engineers to increase hit rate and margin.
- With support from corporate, put in place and manage high professional level tools for titled industry or segment.
2. “ENERGY EFFICIENCY” Consulting Leader in titled segment
- Collect, qualify and organize the “ENERGY EFFICIENCY” information (marketing, commercial and technical) and manage the knowledge transfer to the team (EE Technical Consultants).
- Organize and Manage the EE audits at customer site.
- Consolidate the audits reports and the solutions
ENERGY EFFICIENCY knowledge includes:
o Industry or segment’s know-how and its process knowledge, speak the customer language,
o Understand the energy usage (thermal, electrical),
o Expertise on the Energy Savings solutions according the segments in charge.
3. Others for titled industry or segment
- Be Segment corporate interface for Energy Efficiency offer deployment in ES BU and SECI.
- Participate to titled industry or segment’s conferences and seminars about “Energy Efficiency” in China.
- Acquire =S= service culture, deliver training and coaching.
OBJECTIVES / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Build the Energy Saving Solutions and Support the Commercial Consultants to sell
- Lead the energy efficiency consulting on site
- Guide the energy saving solutions design in the report.
- Be the guarantee of the EE Solution Technical proposal
o Transfer the solutions design to the tendering team
o Support the technical proposal building
o Verify the technical proposal before the delivery
- Negotiation with customer on the technical issues
- Develop new energy saving solutions in titled segments
2. Lead and support the Technical Consultants in titled industry or segment’s action
- Organize and lead the technical consulting on site (choose the necessary competencies, organize the job on site, lead the team,…)
- Provide technical support to other technical consultants in consulting projects’ execution in titled industry or segment.
- Check and validate Consulting reports.
- Improve and consolidate the EE solutions.
- Adapt or build the local transfer knowledge tools (articles, presentations, training modules, best practice examples, application references).
- Organize and animate internal knowledge transfer sessions (AS, Projects, TC, BD, Sales) to rise technical consultants’ team member expertise.
- Manage “ENERGY EFFICIENCY” information data base in titled industry or segment,
The responsibility is to improve the knowledge / expertise level for higher efficiency and customer satisfaction.
3. Support the Advanced Services Marketing in titled industry or segment
The duty is:
- Support ADS marketing to identify lists of key customers and define action plans priority for services business development,
- Provide recommendations for the opportunity qualification criteria.
- Share realization information and customer feedbacks to capitalize experience.
The responsibility is to contribute to ensure the customer targeting optimization.
SPECIFIC ISSUES
- This job requires strong ability for operational activities and flexibility.
- A high volume of technical skill, communication and coordination is required in this job.
- Train other people and share knowledge is essential.
- Appetite to imagine and discover new solutions, as well as interest for technical innovation is required
- Computer and communication applications are required. (MS Office package + Specific software related)
- A fluent control of the English language is required due to his interface role with Schneider “ENERGY EFFICIENCY” corporate.
POSITION OF THE JOB IN THE ORGANISATION
The position reports to Energy Efficiency Architect Manager in Technical Center Department.
He has authority on BD for final technical choice in titled industry or segment projects and services.
INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
Work in coordination with other consultants, offer developers. Supporting to Commercial Consultants, ES Marketing and execution engineers (ES and solutions teams)
Technical problems to be discussed with Technical Consultant and Tendering Manager or Technical Designer in Segment Solutions Managers,
HR problems to be discussed with manager or =S= China HR.
=S= China PMC and CEF Marketing
=S= China regional office BD and sales force.
=S= China training centre manager
EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
Frequently in contact with customers of industry or segment titled to strongly support our ES development and promote Schneider “expert” image.
Permanent contact with Schneider corporate « ENERGY EFFICIENCY » team
Design Institutes, standardization organization of industry or segment titled.
REQUIREMENT OF PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
REQUIREMENT OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Working experience in the field of heat recovery and thermal energy, especially WHR.
- Or working experience in Glass Segment.
- More than 5 years working experience of solutions delivery or execution.
- Good knowledge of full range of Energy Efficiency products, equipment and solutions.
- Excellent communication & coordination ability.
- Be familiar with Chinese rules or International rules (GB / IEC Standards, Design Institute, PSB)
- Personal flexibility and high work mobility.
- Age : 30 to 45 years.
- Language : Mandarin & fluent English in oral and written.
- Computer: Specific Energy Efficiency software tools + standard office tools.
(To be very familiar with computer environment)
