Position Summary:
- Improve Forecasting Accuracy for both income statement (SG&A part) and cash flow.
- Drive Business Performance by ensure an effective control process on PR review
- Be sensitive on cost saving opportunities.
- Continue to simplify FP&A analytical package catering both for marketing & region/global review
- Keep identifying the opportunities of process optimization
Position Duties:
- Take the lead in SG&A annual profit plan / rolling forecast process through effective communication with expense owner on rational budget / forecast assumption to ensure the forecast accuracy;
- Analyze and provide commentary on fluctuation for actual vs. PP/PY and SG&A rolling forecast.
- Review PR application and ensure an effective control on the necessity of the expenditure;
- Keep tracking SG&A expenses (e.g. C&B, headhunter fee, tax consulting fee, IT maintenance fee) and keep each expense owner well informed of the expenditure spending progress;
- Be sensitive on cost saving opportunities and follow up the action plans closely with each function;
- Assist in CG month end closing to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the expenditure booking;
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis support to special projects.
- Seek the opportunities in simplification of FP&A analytical package and improving efficient through BI tools;
- Continue to identify the opportunities for process improvement;
Qualifications:
- University or Polytechnic degree; Business degree in accounting/finance required;
- Good knowledge of China accounting principles (US GAAP a plus), payment processing of trade expenditures and overheads, budgetary controls, cash management, month-end closing and reporting (accrual methodology);
- Strong computer skills (Excel, knowledge of ERP system, SAP, Hyperion or E1 a plus);
- Good knowledge of China commercial and tax regulations and financial controls;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required;
- More than 2 years relevant experience in financial accounting and analysis with multinational companies (commercial/management accounting and internal controls a plus).
