Working Location: Chengdu
EAP（English for Academic Purpose） Teacher will be responsible for the following:
●Teaching one or modules designed to do the following
(depending on the successful applicant’s own strengths and KBF program needs):
-improve students’ performance on writing, listening, reading, and Use of English exams
-strengthen students’ knowledge of academic vocabulary, complex grammatical forms, and complex sentence structures
-improve the quality of students’ academic writing by strengthening their knowledge of western academic writing conventions
-improve students’ oral English fluency and develop their abilities to deliver fluent, confident, and effective presentations;
-analyzing students’ homework assignments and/or weekly test results in order to provide feedback and develop targeted lessons designed to improve students’ weaknesses; and
-providing feedback to the Centre Academic Manager on students’ in-class performance and behavior
EAP（English for Academic Purpose） Teacher applicant will possess the following qualifications and characteristics:
-a bachelors degree or equivalent;
-CELTA or equivalent TEFL/TESL qualification;
-1-2 years experience teaching EAP to high school or college studentsor1-2 years experience teaching IELTS preparation classes to high school or college students;
-English language proficiency—IELTS 7.0 or higher required for applicants for whom English was not the primary language of instruction for their bachelors’ degree studies;
-familiarity with the expectations of academic integrity in western higher education;
-ability to work both independently and to make positive contributions to a team effort as required;
-ability to adhere to strict professional and academic standards set by overseas university partners;
-highly organized with an attention to detail, professional appearance, and ability to uphold the KBF professional image ;
