Job Title : Sales Engineer - India
Position Description
Plan and carry out direct and indirect sales activities to Indian customers and distributors within budgets, product mix and timescales.
Support distributors in developing their business activities
Respond to and follow up sales inquiries by post, telephone, and personal visits.
Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
Target sectors: Land Survey, Construction, GIS and Mapping
Territory: India
Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel up to 10 / 15 days a month

Required Experience, Skills & Training (in order of importance):
? Able to demonstrate success and experience achieving genuine sales development in India – at least 2 years
? Ideal background would be in GPS related applications (survey and GIS), international trading, opto-electronic instrumentation, and more generally in high-tech solutions.
?Experience of tenders would also be useful.
?Must be an excellent face-to-face communicator.
?Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
?Understands the principles of features-benefits-solutions selling in high-tech environment.
?Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities including good time management skills.
?Able to get on with others and be a team player.
?Fluent in English
?Must be adept in use of Excel and Word, Internet and email.
