Job Description
Manages a variety of sales operations and activities to achieve company goals, including, but not limited to ensuring timely, accurate, and prompt forecasts, organizing financial modeling and statistical studies, integrating sales efforts with production to ensure adequate supplies and timely shipping, targeting customers or products to ensure optimal utilization of sales resources and designing and developing programs with the highest return. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
? Use Marketing Part Number (MPN) forecast system; provide input for system enhancements
? Identify customer allocations/support programs to align internal resources required to support TAM, revenue and GM targets
? Attain quarterly sales objectives; optimize GM; sell the right products; maximize TAM share
? Manage customer relationships to establish broad and deep relationships at targeted customers
? Manage accounts to achieve account goals
? Drive and own account strategy within Micron
? Develop and manage extended team including Business Unit and Sales Operations worldwide
? Develop new business opportunities
? Travel to customer sites for business reviews as necessary to conduct business
? Master and maintain broad product line knowledge to service and influence company and customer direction
? Be able to react and manage customers through sudden changing business conditions
? May or may not manage direct reports
? May be assigned specific accounts/regions
