As part of Microsoft Services, the Premier Field Engineering (PFE) Services organization delivers onsite services and specialised preventative services to Microsoft Enterprise customers to empower our largest and most important customers to make the digital transformation. Services delivered by highly skilled engineers with deep technical expertise and have gone though comprehensive accreditation process.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide consulting service to Microsoft key customers on modern applications design and development to enable customer’s digital transformation.
- As the technical experts, design & review technical architecture, lead the development with core framework coding & code review in the key customer projects.
- Leverage the cutting-edge technologies with industry expertise to demonstrate the capabilities of service team and contribute to the cloud consumption, including the programing with AR/VR, cognitive services, cloud applications, cross-platform development and IoT etc.
- Knowledge Sharing with Customers, for example, training, tech talk and workshop delivery.
- Critical problem resolution
- Drive high customer satisfaction in all engagements.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Required knowledge
- C# development experience (5+ years)
- Good experience in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
- Good experience in two of following JavaScript Framework: JQuery, Angelus JS, Knockout
- Experience in Mobile Web App development by leverage Bootstrap responsive development.
- Experience on App backend service development, leverage by Web Service, RESTful service, JSON.
- Experience using SDLC practices, leveraging source code control systems (TFS, GIT, etc.) and issue track system (TFS, Jira, etc.)
- Ability to write clear technical reference documentation and runbook documentation
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good presentation skill
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills in English is preferred
- Face-to-face customer engagement skills.
- Awareness of corporate environments and their business requirements.
Preferred knowledge.
- Experience on application development on Cloud Platform (Azure, AWS).
- Experience on backend architecture, such as NGIX/IIS, cache components, data persistent solution.
- Experience in some community language, such as Node.js, Python, PHP.
- Experience in Mobile App development by Cordova framework.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft .NET Framework
- Understanding of/experience software design patterns.
- Understanding of product engineering lifecycle.
