DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

· Serves as a contacting point for inter-company logistics inquiries, respond in a timely way, and maintain interactive and effective communication with worldwide colleagues;

· Monitors logistics operators' execution of shipments and ensure collection of freight from clients and payments to sub-contractors

· From the perspective of Project Management, to manage the execution of cross-border EPCM Logistics Projects, creating the execution plan, financial projection, human power & expense budget, etc.

· Conducts ongoing market rate analysis, benchmarking and continuous improvement, identifies and implement innovative transportation solutions;

· Manages the procurement of competitively priced, quality transportation services from reliable sub-contractors at or below benchmark rate levels to ensure logistics needs are met;

· Manages negotiation, implementation, and maintenance of procurement contracts for logistics services;

· Establishes and maintains strategic sub-contractor relationships and develop and implement core sub-contractor partnership program;

· Interacts with customers of ongoing logistics operations, understands their incremental logistics demand and activates their needs, and develops incremental logistics business

· Supports the efforts of global, national, and industrial sectors sales by engaging customers in studies for optimizing their logistics operations;

· Supports global and national sales in responding to customers' requests or RFPs focusing on oil & gas and engineering, procurement, construction, and management fields

QUALIFICATIONS

· Undergraduate degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field from a leading institution

· 5+ year experience as an operational role in logistics industry or engineering, procurement, construction, and management fields.

· Excellent Chinese and proficient English written and oral communication skills, particularly in terms of consultancy for the clients and bargaining with the sub-contractors

· Team work, sense of urgency, and commitment to success

· Ability to work in a matrix environment under pressure and aggressive schedules

· Expertise and management experience in one of the following fields are highly desirable:

- 3PL, carriers (ocean, air, trucking)

- Cross-border EPCM project management

- Import/export customs, compliance and export regulations

- Experiences on the management of ground operations for the spot shipment or inbound project

- Volunteer on the Travelling if required

- Experiences on the Out-Of-Gauge Shipments will be preferrable
