Responsibilities
1. Develop, with the support of NanoH2O’s senior management, and execute the company’s “go to market” strategy in China for the company’s SWRO and BWRO membrane products
2. Communicate NanoH2O’s technical concepts clearly to regional EPCs/OEMs and Owner / Operators of RO desalination plants
3. Identify and structure relationships with strategic partners, agents and distributors in China that can help company achieve sales targets
4. Travel 50%+ of the time
5. Monthly progress reporting to senior management.
Requirements
1. Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or Marketing
2. Self-starter with 5+ years in Commercial Leadership functions in the RO market with experience interfacing with local customers
3. Knowledge of the RO market and existing relationships with potential customers including familiarity with desalination component direct and indirect (channel) sales process
4. An understanding of engineering issues surrounding reverse osmosis plants including intakes, pretreatment options, pump selection, piping design, pressure vessels, energy recovery and concentrate disposal
5. Demonstrated ability to work with Application/Process Engineering staff and understand risk management
6. Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment with short cycle times for delivering results
7. An understanding of membrane processes and system design along with a demonstrated attention to detail and innovation.
8. Ability to work independently and productively in remote locations with minimal supervision
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office, experience using customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and familiarity with RO projection software
10. Excellent organizational skills and written and verbal communications skills are required
11. Fluency in English and Mandarin
