Job description

The ECM L2 Technical Support team under ECM in SWG Industry Solution division is seeking a highly motivated technical support analyst that is highly skilled in analyzing complex problems in a disciplined manner and can clearly communicate solutions and workarounds to customers. You'll be responsible for analyzing, recreating, and resolving customer reported problems in complex software. Excellent trouble-shooting techniques are needed. You'll interface with customers, Developers, Testers, UT, and other support organizations. Technical Support is delivered directly to customers by telephony, e-mail, and electronic service records. You'll be responsible for writing Tech Notes, performing causal analysis, contributing to service metrics, and defect prevention activities. Good teaming and self-starter are essential.

Experience with the following required: (1) Oracle/DB2, WebSphere Application Server, Java, J2EE; (2) AIX/Unix, Windows, Linux Operating Systems; (3) Excellent communication skills - written/verbal/listening.

Experience with the following a plus: Lotus Domino, Content Manager Server, FileNet P8.

Qualifications(Education/Major/Certificates)

Degree: MASTER DEGREE OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE

Field of study: Computer Science or related majors

Experience: Development and/or support of software products deployed to mission critical environments. Computer networking(concepts of sockets programming, basic admin skills, use of problem determination tools, etc.)

At least 1 year experience in Troubleshooting skills

At least 1 year experience in WebSphere Application Server

At least 1 year experience in Oracle / DB2

At least 1 year experience in Java

At least 1 year experience in Windows/AIX/Linux/UNIX

English: Fluent
