岗位职责
Responsibilities:
o Execute common administration monitoring tasks such as create, delete and update Monitoring records.
o Provide IT Support teams with technical support related with server availability.
o Be the “monitoring architect/expert” for the assigned projects, giving recommendations and advices to the Project teams for better monitoring.
o Create and implement monitoring solutions for infrastructure devices/services. This may apply to create new plugins, modify existing ones, etc.
o Monitor and troubleshoot proper integration between all Monitoring tools.
o Monitor and analyze metrics to provide improvement solutions (client side).
o Plugins Development in several environments, mostly Linux and Windows.
o Detect issues/improvements that can be made on the monitoring environment so we can assure the best service available.
o Learn new technologies in a fast way due the ever-changing environment where it requires setup implementations in a short amount of time.
o SQL knowledge at least basic for querying information from monitoring databases.
o Be able to participate on WEB development when required, not needed at least the first 6 months, after that the participation on this will increase due the development of the in-house Monitoring Tool
任职要求
Technical skills:
? Advanced English skills, both written and spoken.
? Expertise or at least hands on any of the monitoring tools such as Nagios, Icinga, Orion, Opsview, Zabbix, Zenoss, etc.
? Experience with ticketing / helpdesk systems.
? Experience working in a high traffic network environment, infrastructure.
? Proficient level knowledge of Linux / Unix and Windows systems administration. System resources troubleshooting/monitoring oriented a plus.
? Experience in scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, VBS, Powershell and/or Python
? Basic experience with SQL language
? Working knowledge in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and Networking (SNMP a plus).
? Knowledge of data transfer languages such as JSON and XML.
? Knowledge of Version Control Systems such as Git/Perforce
? Programming knowledge is a plus.
? Basic knowledge on network devices such as Routers, Switches, NFS, Firewalls, etc. is a plus
Non-technical skills:
? Ability to multitask, managing multiple tasks at one time.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Excellent Customer Service skills.
? Ability to learn new concepts, principles and solutions.
Desirable skills:
? Experience working with ER Databases Design and Administration (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle).
? Experience working with Python/ Django, PHP, ASPX and JavaScript languages.
