DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Be responsible for tooling supplier interview, assessment and selection, provide overall ranking
of supplier's tool making capabilities and project management skills.

· Participate in new project's tooling feasibility analysis, work with NA/EU tooling engineers
and Buyers to complete mould drawing design, determine molding process, support new mould set-up, debug and improvement.

· Be able to review and help supplier's moulding process documents, provide technical support
for maintenance, mould process discipline. Familiar with FMEA and DFM tools.

· Monitor supplier's tool making status, and participate new mould first piece sample try-out,
and provide guidance for tooling quality improvement.

· Act as the problem-solver and technical expert for tooling related topics.

· Support sales and purchasing team with accurate tooling quotations & technical suggestions.

· Require frequent travel to various tooling supplier's factories, mainly in China.

· Other projects or tasks assigned by superior when appropriate

QUALIFICATION

· Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Molding technical field.

· Minimum 5 years work experience with mould design and mould-making for automotive
application. Prefer knowledge in medium to large size of plastic injection tools.

· Strong technical and analytical skills, also with strong sense of responsibility.

· Knowledge of design software tools, such as UG, CATIA, Pro-E, AutoCAD, Solid works,
Mold3D, Moldflow analysis, etc.

· Good organizational and communication skills, with team working spirit.

· Self Motivated, result driven /goal oriented with customer focus and sense of urgency.

· Strong project management skills, time management skills, influencing and communication skills are required.

· Good computer skill, and sound presentation skills at all levels.

· Good English skills (oral & writing communications).
