Job description

DVT team is responsible for firmware testing of IBM DS8000 Raid Controller.

The main responsibilities of the team includes:

- Raid controller's hardware change qualification, hardware-firmware integration test.

- Design functional tests for new firmware changes and defect fixes.

- Regression tests for new hardware/firmware changes.

- Test tool development and automation.

- Work with world-wide PMs, Raid controller developers and testers to improve DS8000 products.

Required Skills:

- Linux and Unix(AIX) platform knowledge;

- Be enthusiastic about testing;

- Programming skills like C, Shell, Perl, TCL etc;

- Problem analyzing and solving skills and quick learner;

- Excellent teamwork and good communication skills;

- RAID related experience and storage related knowledge is a good plus.

- IBM DS8000 related knowledge is a plus

Bachelor's Degree
