Job Function: Executive – Project Assistant

Job Description:
Executive – Project Assistant for California State Capital, City of Sacramento Trade & Education Office.
The position require the ability to interact with a diverse background of private business, education institutions and government officials in both the United States and China.
After initial on the job training, candidate maybe assigned to a focused area of interest.
Selected candidate will be given an initial training session, then 6 – 8 weeks on the job training and evaluation period.
Responsibilities will include both administrative and project management, organizing inbound international and outbound Chinese delegations. Occasional domestic and international travel/training maybe required.

Requirements:
– Expert level written and verbal communication in both English and Chinese
– Minimum: CET – Level 6 or TEM – Level 8 or TOEFL 90+ or IELTS 7.5+
– Undergrad degree in English, English Translation, Business related (Marketing, Accounting, management), International Relation and Trade, Communication, and Law.
– Master degree preferred.
– Proficient level with Microsoft Office suite of applications: WORDS, EXCEL, POWERPOINT
– Understanding of social media
– Working experience preferred – but will train the suitable candidates who meet other requirements.
– Domestic and/or overseas traveling experience helpful.
– Strong decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important.
– The ability to work in a fast paced environment. Always remains flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality are crucial to this role.
