JOB TITLE: Key Account Manager
DEPARTMENT: Sales – PI China

REPORTS TO: Application Manager

Location: Shanghai

Candidate Profile
A person leaded a forward idea, self motivated and proactive individual with excellent organized and management, who is responsible for management of the sales team, service team and relationship with account and OEM in pharmaceutical Industries. They are usually allocated particular customer accounts, especially those which provide the most business. Use the account planning process to develop strategies to identify and close opportunities where appropriate. Partner with other vertical account managers and executives where appropriate to develop account strategy and close business. These may change based on corporate strategic objectives
Job Purpose
Responsible tries to identify potential new clients and business opportunities and to persuade new customers to place product inspection business in pharmaceutical Industries. Focus on building long-term relationships with account and OEM. Account managers are responsible for working with clients to identify their needs and work out how the company can best meet those requirements, in order that the client does not decide to place business elsewhere. An account manager might have responsibility for an account at national level. Global account managers and national account managers may work together in a hierarchical or matrix structure. The trend is to move responsibility for the major key accounts to the global level.
The varieties of tasks include project management, coordination, strategic planning, relationship management, negotiation, sign key account agreement, leadership and innovative development of opportunities. Keeping record of transaction of sale
Duties & Key Deliverables
? Expand team application/industry knowledge
? Conduct regional seminars in all key locations: Pharmacy seminars and regional large scale seminars
? Partner with Pharma Vertical team.
? Cement relationships with new OEM partners
? Collects and analyzes Pharma market & competitive situation and report
? Solving key account and OEM problems by working closely with other members of the sales team and colleagues from a range of departments
? Co-ordinating sales projects
? Performing technical presentations to groups demonstrating how your product will meet customer needs
? Provide product demonstrations where appropriate
? Taking part in trade shows, conferencing and marketing events
? Mentoring experience previous manage experience a plus
? Experience in building a team, empowering and holding people accountable.


Essential skills and qualifications
? Major in pharmacy packaging machinery or automatic control background essential
? Extensive knowledge of the Chinese Pharmacy Industries
? Relationship management skills - Internal & External
? Previous experience with MS Software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, required
? Degree or qualification to equivalent level preferred
? Minimum of 3 year relationship-based sales experience, preferred
? Minimum of 5 year account management experience in pharmaceutical Industries, required
? Very good English dialog and write skill
? Ability to negotiate effectively with all levels of personnel
