Roles and Responsibilities

· Develop initial tech packs for proto sample development including grade, flat sketch, construction and trims.

· Communicate with product manager and product development specialists to ensure design aesthetic and silhouette.

· Lead live fit sessions and provide comments and corrections to vendors.

· Supervise technical team to ensure quality in the areas of sewing and construction, fitting, pattern and grading.

· Evaluate and determine garment quality and fit in comparison to specification packages, measure garment, check construction and workmanship.

· Provide technical advices to merchant and vendors

· Monitor work flow and workload and ensure TD activities are completed before deadlines and meet department standard.

· Assist supervisor and director on special projects.

· Supervise and train up Technicians and Juniors

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements

· Higher diploma or above in fashion design studies or related discipline

· At least 7 years practical fitting experience – 2 years in Outerwear

· Detail-minded, well-organized in communication and good fashion sense

· Strong technical skills in garment construction , fit, pattern making, grading and experience in approving fit samples

· Able to communicate with US Head Office and vendors independently

· Excellent organizational and interpersonal communications

· Good leadership skills

· Good command in spoken and written English

· Computer skills in Word and Excel essential

· Knowledge in PLM and Illustrator software
