Configuring, troubleshooting and supporting the following:
Citrix XenDesktop
Citrix XenApp
Citrix Provisioning Server
Citrix EdgeSight
AppSense
App-v
EGI
Determine how to persist application settings and personalization in AppSense.
Troubleshoot and resolve application configuration issues in AppSense (personalization application for VDIs).
Patching (using CSC’s Patch Manager for MS patches ) and or updating the virtual desktop images
Adding applications to the virtual desktop images
Managing virtual desktops and allocations via Active Directory
Adding & Removing User IDs in Active Directory
Creating & Running EdgeSight or EG Innovations reports
Be on call per rotation for after hours support
Assist on planning new additions to infrastructures
Problem solving to troubleshoot issues arising with virtual desktops and applications
Develop and review of procedure and work instruction documents.
Align with other Global key organizations such as Service Desks, Service Delivery and Networking
Quality assurance through lab and field trial testing procedures
Monitoring of system log files
Respond to and resolve Virtual Desktop tickets or requests to customer’s satisfaction and within their Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
