职位描述
The main missions of the role are to:
- Supervise Lead PDL, PDE,PTE and ensures their work meets all internal/external requirements, work close with Faurecia GTS team, and external supplier.
- Oversees and recommends and implements all phases of the designs project to complete it within budget and to meet customer-determined project milestone and completion dates targets.
- Plans and executes complete engineering design projects, from initial design concept through to production release and post-production support.
- Creates and oversees all budgets. Develops methods for frequent tracking and strategies for improving performance.
- Ensures that the product designs proposed by the design team are feasible and economical to produce in the manufacturing facilities and processes available, in particular through Faurecia program management mode.
- Ensures that the lead, projects engineers, design engineers and designers, and solutions meet all the requirements by giving them clear and complete directions regarding design concepts and parameters, and by evaluating their output.
- Contributes to manufacturing performance and customer service by assisting in the resolution of production or quality issues associated with the design.
- Keeps their team informed about all relevant information; he/she responsible for managing all Human Resources of their team including their professional development and annual performance reviews and participation in recruitment.
- Works closely with Program Management to understand and achieve CFAP program milestones.
- Other duties and special projects assigned
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Bachelor of Science Engineering.
- Must have related Experience.
- Must have 5 years+ in automotive manufacturing.
- Minimum 10 years experience in automotive engineering field
- Extensive track record in managing product design team
- Good communications skills
- Strong knowledge of automotive specific engineering process (example: design to cost, DFMA, DFA/DFM, etc…)
- Proven track record with successfully developing and launching new complete seat projects
