Work Location: Chongqing Chemical Industry Park-Changshou District
Objectives:
basic and detailed planning of requested plant modifications (MOC) and small / medium sized projects in the area of mechanical engineering (static, piping & rotating) as well as basic planning of civil
Main Responsibilities:
1. Develop, update and maintain company engineering standards and technical specification in the area of mechanical engineering (static, piping and rotating) - optimize and modify plant technical status with respect to new legal requirements as well as new technical developments
2. Provide technical consulting and support other departments in the area of mechanical engineering (static, piping and rotating) and cooperate with BASF internal (e.g. EMA, ...) and external service providers (e.g. CDI, ...)
3. Provide technical support for MOC and small / medium sized project construction execution as well as necessary material / parts preparation / purchasing
4. Participate in developping a quality assurance program
5. Ensure all engineering provided meets companies and mandatory EHS codes and standards as well as companies and mandatory QA/QC codes and standards
6. Basic engineering in the area of civil
7. coordinate / lead MOC and small / medium sized projects with respect to EHS/Quality/Schedule and costs
8. Update and maintain the technical documentation in the area of mechanical engineering (static, piping and rotating)Observe the company EHS policy, procedures and working instructions;
Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or abov
2. 8+ years in mechanical engineering / maintenance in petrochem. or chem. Industry
3. solid knowledge in static equipment and piping, good / basic knowledge of rotating equipment, good understanding of related engineering standards as well as legal requirements, good computer skills and related software, good english communication skills
