Role Summary/Purpose

Be required to deliver all of GE IP service offerings throughout the defined area/vertical market, to help win new customers and grow our market share of Professional Services. The position will require frequent interaction with the GE IP sales force, channel partners, customers, other cross-functional team members and sub-contractors.

Essential Responsibilities

- Lead project execution from technical side, including site survey, system design, implementation, integration, & deployment
- Interpret the customer expectations and design input into a viable design specification for system architecture and detail development
- Support PM to deliver project milestones aligned with customer content, schedule, & quality expectations.
- Ensure all engineering work is developed and configured in accordance with established procedures and standards.
- Work with ITO to verify and produce services proposals in a timely, high quality manner
- Comply with all relevant GE policies and procedures

Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor degree in Automation or Electrical Engineering, a Diploma in Instrumentation Technologies or equivalent experience considered.
- At least 5 years' automation project experience with excellent knowledge of RTU, HMI, PLC, DCS, Historian products
- Experience with different field businesses and architectures - including Redundancy or Client/Server or Browser/Server systems.
- Control strategies for Temperature, Flow, Pressure, and Level control.
- Familiar with computers and networking.
- Technical aptitude with Ladder Logic, VC, VB, SQL and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional customer service and good communication skills.
- Bilingual language skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Able and willing to work in site project environment
- Thorough knowledge of DATAC RTU & SCADA products is preferred

Desired Characteristics

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
· Proven analytical and quality improvement ability
· Demonstrated proficiency in repair troubleshooting, shop operations, and testing of assigned programs/hardware
· Ability to make formal presentations to all audiences
· Able to work with all levels of maintenance, engineering, and management
· Project management or supervisory experience is preferred
· Demonstrated ability to lead and influence GE customer and peers
