Purchasing Director

- Achieve Company cost reducton through value engineering and supply chain optimization. Key participant to set of processes, from business planning to manufacture cost optimization, with the major share of work being in new product development/mass Production.
-Heads of Procurement teams,mange Purchasing team, Set up business process on purchasing strategy,supplier selection, contract mangement,suppler ranking, and year purchasing spending around 100MUSD.
-Lead/ support Mass production cost down and company manfucture expending plan. support company core value and new product development.
-Drive value engineering, by challenging cost drivers and investigating more cost effective solutions, both in product architecture/design/production and the supply chain.
-Facilitate implementation of commodity strategies by aligning production and supply chain upfront with agreed Procurement strategies, and by appropriately escalating in cases of persistent deviation.
-Assist preparation of Procurement performance/ status reports, by providing relevant data for the the performance review(BBSC).
-Be in regular contact with business and category management teams and senior management of all functions.


Requirements:

-BS/MS in Industrial, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
-At least 10 years of experience in a high volume semiconductor industry in Purchasing/supply chain related functions or related financial functions (cost engineering, supplier auditing,..).
-rich practical knowledge of how supply chains work and be able to assess the cost drivers of industrial processes.
-Change management experience gained e.g. in lean manufacturing or six sigma style programs is considered relevant.
-Strong networking, influencing and communication skills; as the ability to lead teams effectively.
-Willingness to travel, visiting suppliers across the wider region and globally.
-Fluent English
