Job Description
- Design next generation High Voltage Power Semiconductor Devices (IGBT, MOS, Diode) with immediate focus on 600-1200V Free Wheel Diodes.
- Will design new products, new product derivates and optimize existing products.
- Derive new physical models for Pt and electron irradiated life time controlled processes to understand device physics, to optimize and customize static and switching performance of Free Wheel Diodes.
- Do high temperature modeling (Tj 175degC, 200degC) and derive design rules for safe designs in respect to device robustness and reliability.
- Do circuit simulation for IGBT+FRD free wheel applications, derive rules for optimum performance and benchmark against industry leaders.
- Study technology trends, do benchmark.
Qualifications Required
-Master level or higher education in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics or equivalent
-Knowledgeable in semiconductor device physics and the use of finite element analysis tools (Synopsys TCAD Sentaurus) for device fabrication & prediction of device electrical behavior.
- Good understanding of the physics of life time control and life time control techniques.
- Good understanding of the interactions between fabrication processing and device behavior.
- Knowledgeable in power discrete cell architectures and high voltage device termination structures. Diode cell architecture and diode termination is a strong plus.
- Good working knowledge of CAD tools (Cadence).
-MS-Offcie, TCAD preferable Synopsis Sentaurus 2D (3D is an advantage).
-Teamplayer, must have the ability to work & communicate effectively
