Objectives:

-Derive key raw materials requirements from Production Rough Cut and carry out acquisition of assigned raw materials, packaging supplies, and ingredients to ensure production plan adherence.

-Develop the detail production schedule in line with the master production plan from the S&OP process and maintain the schedule through the planning time fence

Main Tasks:

Key Raw Materials Planning and Coordination

-From master production plan, set the key raw material requirement plans and convert into purchase requirements

-Monitor key raw materials replenishment status to ensure availability for production

-Key raw materials inventory control according to approved inventory targets/working stock level

-Consolidate materials requirements to minimize the total cost of acquisition

-Maintain SAP MM relevant Master data e.g. Materials Master to support planning and materials management processes

Production Fine Planning and Coordination

-Translate master production/ rough cut plan into detail production schedule considering raw materials availability, practical production capacity and plant turnaround schedule; communicate aligned plan according to RBU S&OP Planning Calendar and enable Production Execution

-Work with BU SC Planning to maintain key raw materials and S&OP planning books, ensure live link to Regional Planning books

-Coordinate locally with Production and Logistics teams to ensure participation in S&OP meeting or ad hoc planning coordination meeting

-Collect and maintain relevant production planning Master data (SAP PP e.g. bill of materials, routings and work centre data, Batch Management, etc.) to support S&OP and production processes

-Own manufactured products (OMP) inventory control according to approved inventory targets/working stock level

-Support collection of SC cost data for Logistics Excellence, Isocyanates supply network and value based optimization

-Coordinate with EHS/SCM/Finance/Controlling/Procurement and other functions as appropriate to ensure compliance with both internal and external rules and regulations related to supply chain operations and processes

-Together with Packaging Procurement and Logistics teams, manage packaging supply services and costs based on the service contract conditions and regularly feedback on actual service performance for corrective actions; provide/update packaging materials requirements for Procurement tendering

-Participate in Regional/Local/Functional SC projects as required

Requirements:

-Education: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Logistics Management

-Working Experience: Minimum 3 years relevant experience, preferably in Production Planning/Detail Scheduling function under manufacturing environment; hand-on experience in running S&OP process (Sales and Operational Planning) a strong plus

-Technical & Professional Knowledge: Production Planning and Scheduling, S&OP knowledge essential; BASF SC Operations, BASF Business knowledge, and SAP PP/MM/PPDS skills a clear plus; APICS Certification a strong advantage
