Job Title: DC-Assistant Manager
Job Responsibilities:
1. "Ability to examine customer request and implement working models within the timeframe requested, work with the assigned DC team developing, implementing key materials strategies / process and continuous optimization DC warehouse process, Examples:Hub models, Kanban with JIT support from vendors, kitting materials to site logistics or workshop, Process Optimization, Space Optimization, System Optimization, Leadtime reduction, RF-sanner process etc;"
2. Supervises effectiveness and productivity of warehouse employees through continual communication and performance management; reacts to personnel performance issues, the warehouse organization has an adequate and dedicated training program;
3. Functional expert within the department and ERP system, to well trains and develops all DC warehouse employees; ensure that each position has cross-trained personnel, giving the ability to respond to quick changing demands;
4. Ensures documenting day-to-day business, ensures timely and accurate update all transactions information by SAP ;
5. Ensures the proper receiving / stocking / shipping procedures are used for all warehouse operations, constantly challenging processes asking, “how can this be improved?” Develops effective methods to separate non-conforming material. Monitors problem resolution with non-conforming material and escalates if issues arise;
6. Develops proper storage of material and ensures effective processes exist for all project materials or spare parts. Ability to respond to all materials demand within the necessary time frame. Understanding and calculation of key performance indicators;
7. Ability to use a cycle count program to identify true root cause in process / procedure breakdown and improve the processes or procedures, to meet or exceed and continuously improve on the related performance metrics objectives;
8. Adhere to all general safety rules and make sure all material be kepted in the safety conditions;
9. Good housekeeping, ensures an orderly and neatly maintained stock for all storing areas;
10. Other duties and special projects as assigned;
Job Requirements:
1. Effective verbal / written communication, interpersonal. Ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical information in English via verbal presentations and in writing
2. Good teamwork and excellent organizational, prioritizing and follow up skills
3. Must exhibit a true sense of urgency in responding
4. Good computer skills. Proficiency in SAP, Word, Excel, Outlook and internet applications
5. Good mathematics and high attention to detail
6. Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize workloads
7. Demonstrated ability to complete projects on time
8. Good problem-solving skills
9. Leads, trains and develops warehouse employees
