Essential Responsibilities

The Shandong JV Meters Plant Finance Manager – The plant finance manger of Meters manufacturing in Shandong, China will have provide financial support and analysis for $16M in revenue. The Meters P&L to which this JV reports has a global sales operations and 6 manufacturing locations (including JVs) serving the market. The business outlook is one of stable growth with a healthy backlog amongst future trends of localization of manufacturing and aggressive cost management.

The Plant Finance Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across functions, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. They will be a key business partner to the GM, CFO and P&L leadership team in setting strategy and offering financial guidance.

• Keep a pulse on the business through weekly PSI (Quick Market Intelligence-type pacing) focused on product fulfillment and scheduling
• Provide technical financial leadership in planning, directing and integrating all aspects of GE budgeting for the Shandong site submission including Ops Reviews, Quarter Pitch outs, Planning sessions and Blue Print Reviews
• Partner with Meters CFO in developing business strategy by providing real time market and financial analytics including utilization, productivity, and spend to target
• Provide financial guidance and operational analysis to site non-finance leaders
• Support Meters leadership team in the preparation of budgets, operating plans, investment strategies and manpower planning
• Develop a true partnership with the Plant Operations team and serve as finance lead for VCP, deflation, and margin enhancement activities
• Provide financial reporting on all aspects of plant on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Provide tracking and valuation of site assets and inventory
• Oversee and lead annual physical inventory count and the monthly cycle counts
• Oversee and lead quarter closing of plant financials
• Improve reporting capability through financial systems continuous improvements and process digitization
• Drive business scorecards, facilitate monthly / quarterly business reviews of estimates and conduct post mortem analysis

Qualifications/Requirements

 Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
 At least 5 additional years of experience in a financial position

Desired Characteristics

 MBA is preferred
 Prior manufacturing orsupply chain finance experience
 Proven cross-functional teamwork and effectiveness
 Able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
 Demonstrated team leadership ability
 Strong oral and written communication skills
