Job Title: Touchpad FAE for HISD Applications

Location: Chongqing

Job Responsibilities

Successful candidate will report to China FAE Manager and will be located in Chongqing. Responsibilities include,

l Collaborate with Globe Sales to support customer, mainly customers are local PC ODM factories.

l Assist and support custom designs via proposals, review of designs and firmware tuning.

l Assist in troubleshooting of technical issues particularly when the custom touch modules are integrated into the customer device at production line.

l Be an evangelist for new platform related activity. This would involve learning of the new technology, identifying the best customers in region to be Alpha or Beta product partners and rolling out the new platform to the region. Technical challenges include understanding of PC SW structure, understanding PCBA manufacturing, and negotiating technical specifications with customers and partners. Other challenges will evolve around the main tool for supporting product development, Design Studio, involving the debug at customer production line.

Some typical job functions include,

l Preparation of demo systems to showcase current and new technologies

l Work with Sales to understand customer application requirements

l Analyze of issues reported by customers.

l Perform on-site support to customer production and failure analysis.

l Local customer technical interface for Touchpad related activity and new product development activity

l Technical support for new business development activities in local region

l Develop knowledge on most recent human interface technologies.

Qualifications/Requirements/Knowledge:

l BSEE or MSEE with 3 years analog/digital circuit design experience. l Strong customer communication skills along with internal communication skills. l Strong analog and digital circuit debugging skill. l Experienced in mechanical design review and layout design review. l Knowledge of driver structure in PC systems. l Understanding of schematics. l Understand PCB/FPC fabrication and assembly manufacturing process. l Strong knowledge of touch and other interface devices preferred. l Strong knowledge of materials such as PCB, glass, PET and other materials available for development of touch and human interface devices. l Strong verbal and written communication skill in both English and Chinese. l Experience in working with cross functional team to implement system design. l Willing to travel locally and internationally (25% to 50%).

Required/Preferred Skills:

l Pro-active “get-it-done” personality with ability to influence people.

l Excellent communicator with strong writing skills; must be experienced with creating presentations, sales tools, technical documentation, training, whitepapers, collateral, etc.

l Strong verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English.

l Ability to prioritize and manage multiple, parallel projects to deadline. Project management experience is helpful.

l Must have passion for success and winning.

l Team player, desire to learn and contribute in highly dynamic environment.
