SUPERVISES:Project Specialist
CONTACTS:
As a project leader, project specialist is the project info source by means of establishing communication channels with the project stake holders.
Internal :
Product Manager to make sure project plan is defined clearly and approved by management ;
Product Engineering to make sure product design is well developed and approved by customer;
Tooling and Process Engineering to make sure manufacturing processes are feasible;
AQP（策划）to make sure all the customer requirements are identified, understood and accepted by Molex.
Souring to make sure they are able to find the qualified supplier.
Manufacturing Plant Representative to make sure there have enough manufacturing resources to qualify the project and run the project in mass production.

External :
Customer Representative such as Buyer, SQE, Project Manager, etc to make sure 1) we can follow the timeline to provide required sample on time and 2) communicate the project status regularly and 3) submit the PPAP as planned and 4) make the customer satisfied and prepare to win more business.
Assistant contact with supplier to make sure 1) they can provide required sample on time and 2) submit the PPAP to Molex as planned.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Project Specialist is the project leader for the project. They are required to hold the accountability for the success of the project. They must be able to use the PDP process related, management skills and leadership to lead the PDT to accomplish the project as the project plan requires. Other than that, he/she may take on the leadership for subgroup of project management and bring up the coach and training to them.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Lead cross-functional teams to deliver new product launched on time and budget. Ensure that these teams achieve all customer and company requirements including quality, cost, delivery, product performance and customer satisfaction.
2.Organize all new product launch related activities.
3.Ensure the advanced product quality planning (APQP) process is established, documented, implemented and followed according to QS9000/TS16949 procedures.
4.Serve as the expert in new product launch systems including timing, documentation and interaction.
5.Ensure the team develops/finalizes special characteristics, design reviews FMEA, establish actions to reduce potential failure modes, develop and/or reviews control plans and communicate variance to plan early so issues can be addressed.
6.Maintain good communication among project team members, departments, and customers.
7.Maintain program cost reporting against budget.
8.The responsibility relevant to manpower management.
9.Participate in trainings, and actively reporting L&E misconduct.

SCOPE:
Project Specialist is required to 1) make the project timeline, 2) assess the project risk, 3) find the required resources, 4) set up the PDT, 4) execute and monitor the project and 5) launch the project successfully. Other than that, he/she will be responsible for the project success of the subgroup.

EDUCATION:
REQUIRED:
· University graduated with engineering background

WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
· At least 9 years work experience
· At least 7 years work experience in project management
PREFERRED:
·Work experience related to new product development is preferred
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
REQUIRED:
· Be familiar with Microsoft Office: Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
·Good cross function communication skill
·Good attitude for multiple section coordination
·Good at English listening, reading, speaking and written
·Has strong leadership and capability to lead complex global and local projects
·Be able to be an example and coach the other team members
