Experience:
? 5+ years’ experience in Application Development using a Configuration Management methodology process. Requires the ability to develop and manage implementation planning schedules
? Must demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects and coordinate project schedules. Innovative and strategic thinking is required, as well as a track record of success implementing solutions that result in measurable business benefits.
? 3+ years’ experience in Configuration Management working and deploying Net applications: Application Server.
? 3+ years’ experience working with source code repositories – Subversion, VSS.
? CollabNet Team Forge experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
? Support the build activities of multiple teams, delivering multiple releases of services and applications
? Ownership, development and support of the Build and Release tool infrastructure
? Engage with teams during project conception, ensuring that applications and services are developed in a releasable way
? Troubleshoot development and test environments
? Coordinate and support project branches merging process for shared code
? Administration of [VSS SVN] in [Windows CollabNet] environment
? Review and assess the risk of changes throughout the release process
? Support build server, ensuring that failed builds and testing defects are being addressed by the development team
? Prepare release and point release packages
? Deploy release packages to all non-development test environments including production
? Execute scheduled application builds and deployments in test environments
? Setup and support release test environments including deployment of packages and reporting of changes
? Continuously look to improve the scalability of the build and release operation
? Continuously look to improve the efficiency of our build/release/deploy process (via automation, new tools)
Essential Skills:
? Bilingual in Chinese and English
? Excellent knowledge of .NET automated build process, best practice and principles
? Strong SCM skills using [VSS – SVN]
? .NET build tools such as Nant
? Build server administration using Jenkins/Hudson
? Problem solving and RCA of issues
? Windows Batch scripting
? Windows PowerShell scripting
? Working knowledge of database architecture
? Strong knowledge of SDLC
? Excellent communication skills, organized and high attention to detail
? Articulate with good writing skills, able to explain complex issues to audiences from senior management to development staff
? Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively
? Healthy dose of common sense and initiative a plus
? Good sense of humour and attitude essential
? Strong ability to solve problems and deal with people
