· This position will act as the regional lead for the Asia region, managing all CSS team members in Asia region providing non-English support to CSC Business units in Asia.
· Responsible for developing and insuring timely delivery complex detailed analysis. The lead should perform significant amount of complex and non-routine accounting work and is responsible for management and review of work performed by various functional teams. Develop and implement procedures to ensure the quality of work produced by their team. Make judgment regarding employment of staff, vendor management. Relies upon experience to exercise discretion to make judgments regarding routine and non-routine issues. A significant degree creativity and latitude is required.
The position will report into the centre head at CSS Chennai, but will work with the CSS vertical leads on all process areas supporting Asia businesses.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
To manage staff at Non English speaking regions such as China, Japan & Vietnam
Prioritize and review staff activities to ensure appropriate quality and staff productivity.
Perform complex analysis involving key accounts and controls.
Ensure that accruals, reserves and management estimates are properly calculated and supported.
Manage performance and including annual performance reviews and ensure ongoing staff development.
Manage aspects of the monthly, quarterly and yearly close process.
Manage aspects of external and internal audit activities.
Develop and implement Accounting Policies and Standard Operating Procedures to support business needs.
Review and enhance analysis and analytical processes and controls.
Assist direct reports in resolution of complex or non-routine issues
Provides leadership and work guidance to team
