GENERAL SUMMARY：
The plant Supplier quality engineer is responsible for facilitating supplier quality and incoming check to maintain plant production running smoothly. SQE is expected to cover material testing and finished goods test. Strong facilitating is needed to keep raw materials quality better both internal & external suppliers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES：
1. Attend the TS16949 quality system set up, review and maintain the documents as necessary.
2. Participate internal TS16949 and ISO14001 audits and perform self audits as authorized by the customer.
3. Perform the capability studies for raw material and keep it within CS required needed.
4. Supplier quality assurance and audit suppliers as needed.
5. Regular review supplier performance and follow up the actions on any supplier quality cases.
6. Develop/ coach suppliers on quality tools/method on CI.
7. May coach and supervise technicians or inspectors.
8. Fill-in during the absence if QA manager.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
1. Four years degree in engineering or quality or business preferred.
2.3 years of experience as a supplier quality engineer preferred.
3.1 year of auto industry experience and knowledge of - 8D, FMEA, APQP, and PPAP is required.
4. Certification of internal audit for TS16949 is preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Ability to reading and writing English is a must.
2. Must be able to deal with supplier interaction.
3. Ability to read blueprints.
