Business Development Specialist

The main purpose of the position is to assist and support the overall performance of existing and new customer accounts, through active telephone and email contact, scheduling and attending meetings, scoping of opportunities and preparation of supporting proposals with summary presentation documentation.

Candidate Responsibilities
? Introduce the basic solutions and processes for sales and aftersales management
? To assist and acquire a working knowledge and skills to advise automotive customers
? To assist and acquire knowledge and skills to advise on deploying concepts to ensure effective project delivery (defining sales areas for business development mangers, identifying sales potentials and opportunities, defining proposals, presentation to management)
? To assist in deploying action plans for new sales and marketing activities
? To assist and acquire knowledge and skills to implement a specific KPIs specified by OEM’s in China
? Write and circulate data to other Account Managers / Project Management / Customer Senior Management
? Liaise with Customers / personnel staff at all levels Team Leader(s) / Project Management on opportunities and prospects at all levels
? Complete and provide information for Company documentation as necessary (Travel Expense Reports, Corrective Action Requests, and Timesheets etc.).
Candidate Specification
? University degree in Science, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or equivalent
? English is a must. (spoken and written)
? Ability to translate English / Chinese (preferred)
? Knowledge of the Automotive Business, OEM or Retail background, Sales or Aftersales or Warranty management experience preferable
? Knowledge of dealer sales activities, processes and KPI’s
? Good experience in IT-Knowledge (e.g. MS Office, mail, Internet)
? Basic Product Knowledge
? Good communication and interpersonal skills
? Excellent team player
? Self-confident, inspiring and convincing
? Logical thinker, analytical with good planning and organizing skills
? Good conflict management skills and creative problem solver
? Training abilities
? Target oriented and persistent
? Ability to work in an international working environment
