Role description:
Pricing Specialist is the subject matter expert in MPS pricing methodology, financial model and usage of pricing tools. He/she will be part of Deal Support Centre and work closely with the pursuit lead to determine the pricing strategy and approach fit to customer requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
•Provide support on proposal and pricing for change order/add on/extension/renewal, new (multi) country, global inbound, and software solution deals.
•Prepare competitive pricing proposals based on fleet design and service scope provided and considering existing pricing guidelines and best practices
•Applies best in class methodology, guidelines, and templates to delivering pricing in support of profitable deal proposals.
•Work closely with the pursuit team (SC/SA) and delivery team to optimize the custom service costing to be used for pricing.
•Actively identify areas to improve margin or cost optimization
•Provide analysis on the pricing competitiveness
•Financial risk assessment, consultation with pursuit lead and Finance OC to develop risk mitigation strategies
•Interface with Finance OC on PnL consolidation and finance review
•Collaboration with pursuit lead to ensure audit compliance as per the Deal Governance and Approval Matrix
•Ensure Pricing and financial accuracy in deal proposals
•Handover of pricing to delivery/customer ops representative post signature
•Use of pricing tools (deep SME)
•Support Pursuit team in TCO/Business Case calculation
Qualifications
Education and Experience required :
•University or Bachelor's degree
•Typically a minimum of 5 years in complex Information Technology (IT) service business environment.
•Directly related previous work experience is preferred
•Demonstrated ability to work with large worldwide virtual cross-functional teams.
