职位描述

Job Purpose :

The BD manager for online business is responsible for the development and execution of effective and sustainable business strategies to build our Writing business (mainly our category leader PARKER brand) in e-commerce channels, through online platforms of existing retail partners as well as through pure online players, in respect our PARKER and other Writing brands positioning and global strategy, . As part of the engagement efforts, the position holder is to be expected to conduct periodic business reviews with e- retailers, provide full visibility of our power brand’s performance within their on-line stores and cooperate to build strong sell through supporting programmes


Main Responsibilities:

· Build PARKER on-line e-commerce retail channel development strategy, route to market development plan to meet consumer needs for Mainland China

· Acts as liaison for customer partner teams including segment leads, customer partner leads, agency and vendor partners

· Build and maintain a good business relationship with China Key targeted e-retailers via conducting annual game plan, daily operation, periodic business review and continuous optimization.

· Develop existing business with TMall and Amazon to generate sustainable growth.

· Develop an account profile listing for each e-retailer including vision, strategies, key personnel, policies, trading terms, monthly sales performance and any other relevant information

· Monitor the development of the online channel and define the opportunities it provides to PARKER in China (then other opportunities). Where the opportunities are aligned with company’s plan, check with Sales Management team to align on the on-line plan

· Cooperate with Channel Marketing to develop online promotion programs including

- Strategy development, planning, execution and monitoring

- Seek the best ROI program to enhance the on-line traffic and transition , and build brand image aligning with company direction

- Build, track and optimize the A&P budget

· Interact, share best practices and get learnings from the Newell eCommerce community, especially other Amazon Sales responsible HCs across the world.

· Supervise and manage the on-line sales team to have operation rhythm within sales department and other functions

· Assist the NSD in the preparation of Annual Business Plans, Sales Budgets and Salesforce Incentive Schemes.

· Ensure the good service from e-commerce service vendor and distributor.

· Continuously monitor key competitive activities in the channel and develop the necessary actions to protect or enhance Newell Rubbermaid’s overall market share

· Always adhere to the company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and ensure that the entire Salesforce understands and adhere to it at all times


Qualifications:

· University Degree in communications, marketing, ecommerce or related field.

· Strong Digital business development experience, knowledge and skills, minimum 5 years’ experience in FMCG or premium consumer goods industry on-line, through etailers is a must, directly is nice-to-have

· Tertiary qualification required, Sales or Marketing emphasis preferred

· Strong project management, analytical, presentation and team communication skills

· Experience in preparation of budgets, forecasting etc

· Effective project management skills

· Good negotiation skills

· Self-starter and able to work independently

· Sound analytical skills and acute attention to details

· Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

· Ability and desire to multi-task.
