Job Summary and Mission

As IT Technician, you will be engaged in various IT projects to support Wizlynx’s customer network, server and desktop infrastructure. This role will be part of a team of experts in providing excellent services to customers and internal teams.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

? Perform hardware and software installation for workstations and servers
? Perform hardware and software diagnosis of computer components
? Deploy and image operating systems and applications
? Maintain and run Security Endpoint Point Protection
? Perform network infrastructure installation and repair
? Help maintain an up-to-date and accurate hardware and software audit
? Answer, evaluate, and prioritize daily tasks
? Delegate tasks to Junior IT Technician and ensure they execute them quality manner
? Ensure discipline, cleanliness and good behavior of Junior IT Technician
? Attend meetings or conference calls related to major incident resolution
? Support in new internal Wizlynx services if required
? Available to learn new skills if appointed
? Provide onsite coverage


Summary of Ideal Experience, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
EXPERIENCE

? Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science or equivalent work experience.
? At least one year direct IT Technician or a similar role.
? Certifications in MCSA, CompTIA A+, ITIL or others are preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

? Fluent in English (speech and writing)
? Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

? Solid knowledge of Windows 2008/2012 Server and Windows 7 operating systems, VMware ESX, as well as strong hardware support skills are essential
? Familiar with mobility knowledge and experience on iOS or Android devices
? Server builds, Rack installations, and configuration
? Knowledgeable in prioritizing Incident’s/request according their respective SLA’s
? Able to bring Junior to next level
? Team oriented
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
? Quick learner, glad to learn new knowledge
? Flexible attitude, reliable, Independent, Capable and respectful
? Customer friendly approach and appearance
? Should be able to take meeting minutes
? Proven good attitude in work
? Able to suggest give feedbacks rather than just complaining
