? To ensure, together with the Master in Design, the technical feasibility of the product during the offer and development stages, regarding the Contract Revision goals, applying the TC/TP and FDS methodology.
? To ensure the technical feasibility solutions established taking into account the technical level of the business unit when starting the mass production series.
? To ensure an effective relation with the client from the technician point of view, with the collaboration of the Master in Design.
? To cooperate with Process dept. and the team in the Manufacturing plants to ensure that industrialization achieves project targets.
? To ensure the development and prototypes delivery regarding the defined plans with the client.
? To take part in the product and process AMFE’s.
? To carry out the design revision under the supervision of the Master in Design.
? To manage effectively the product modifications during the development.
? Together with the Quality Engineer, analyze the results of the product technical test reports and find the necessary technical c/m’s solutions.
? To ensure the optimum use of the standardized solutions in all the development processes of the product for all the business unit clients.
? To give support to the business unit competitively improvement in cost, quality and product functional character matters, adopting technical progress solutions from the competitors’ analysis and the benchmarking.
? To analyze the costs of the new series to capitalize experience.
? To define the key components of the product and take part in suppliers selection.
? To cooperate with Purchasing dept. and suppliers. to ensure the optimization of the components in terms of cost, manufacturability.
? To support to generate all the Electronic Design document outputs :
o Electrical BOM part list (maximizing the Standard Part list selection),
o Schematics , and PCB Layout CAD Design, (with the help of the ECAD technician)
o the related Manufacturing Standard Doc’s (for Adjustment, Testing, Quality Inspection, ...)
? To satisfy all the EMC and Safety Homologations criteria , based on the pre-agreed customer standard.
? To satisfy all the Electronic Reliability (Temperature, ESD, Derating, ...) criterias, based on the pre-agreed customer quality standard.
