Job Requirements

The Senior Customer Quality Engineer will report to the China Customer Quality Manager and be responsible for coordinating the team efforts to track and resolve the quality issues from the customer. After the training he/she is expected to master the knowledge of capacitive sensing technology, development and testing tools for debugging, firmware configuration, electronic system and semiconductor analytical skills with support from Failure Analysis Engineers.

This position should possess the strong communication and problem-solving skill sets and will interact with various regional field personnel - Sales, Field Application Engineers, Application Engineering as well as the Supplier Quality, product development groups such as, System Engineering, Manufacturing and Test Engineers, F/W Engineering, System Silicon groups.

Qualification Requirements

• BSEE/MSEE with 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor or mobile devices industry.
• Experience in product engineering or supplier quality
• Experience in working at factory is an advantage
• Experience in quality tools such SPC, FMEA, DOE is a plus
• Knowledge of component and system level products, and mechanical assemblies
• Added advantage of experience with electronic bench-test equipment - oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, curve tracer and signal generators, power supplies
• Able to handle multi-tasks in a fast paced environment
• Able to handle challenge and pressure from customers
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and flexible to travel

Skills/Experience

· Solid understanding of semiconductor device fundamentals and electrical, electronics, firmware, and system engineering

· Knowledge of semiconductor device physics (CMOS, hi-voltage and mixed signal analog/digital)

· Ability to identify semiconductor device failures mechanisms is an advantage

· Working experience with top-tier handheld customers in China
