Title: IT Support Analyst
Report Line: Locally to Finance Manager

Functionally to HQ IT Support and Communications Manager
Location: Hangzhou

Job Summary:
Work with the IT Support Manager, provide technical support for desktop systems and software with particular focus on the Eastern regional offices.
Proactively provide support in keeping systems up to date, and provide a high level of excellence in customer support.
Support the IT Support Manager in day to day operations to keep all systems running.

Main Responsibilities:

• Be the first point of contact for IT support requests in China and other Eastern offices (Japan and Korea)
• Monitor the helpdesk for incoming support requests
• Actively maintain communication with central IT Support on a regular basis
• Perform routine maintenance on systems whilst causing minimal downtime
• Maintain the Asset Register and responsibility for any IT purchasing
• Maintain good working order of IT equipment around the office such as printers, etc.
• Provide basic level of training to users on an as-needed basis
• Manage local network and infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with group IT and security policies
• Be the point of contact for rolling out group business systems and software
• Report IT related issues to the UK

Key Requirements:

• High integrity character in line with Romax corporate culture
• Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent, MSCE preferably
• Experienced in IT support or suitable IT-related certification (Microsoft, A+/N+ etc)
• Strong working knowledge of networks and Windows desktop systems (XP/Vista/7)
• Experience of Windows Server 2003/2008 R2 systems and Cisco switches/routers/firewalls
• Basic network equipment troubleshooting, e.g. printers, switches
• Strong sense of responsibility and being a team player
• Good command of both spoken and written English, including IT-specific vocab
• Be able to work with a diverse group of individuals
• Strong problem solving skills
• Be able to manage own time and tasks
• Have a "can-do" attitude, and have strong attention to detail
• Be able to work flexibly in line with the needs of the business
• Preferably knowledge of Korean or Japanese languages
