• To manage logistic activities relating to the plant’s MRPII system (Manufacturing Resources Planning) consistent with the principles of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing. To manage Production planning and scheduling, customer service and deliver, Inventory planning and control, supplier scheduling, and capacity management activities.
• Ensure safety environment within logistic department for people, technical equipment and infrastructure according to IAC’s HSE policy
• Ensure customer satisfaction with strive to have 100% complete and on-time customer delivery performance.
• Lead the logistics team and set objectives
• Ensure that developmental and cross training is on-going to fully develop a versatile Production Control Staff.
• Monitor logistics process
• Monitor, report and improve logistic performance
• Implement logistics improvement actions in coordination with all other plant functions (Quality, Lean Manufacturing, Production, …)
• Active part in other projects or tasks assigned to logistics by management team.

Requirement:

• Qualifications - Candidates will be certified to degree/business engineering level or at least 5 years relevant industry experience within 1^st Tier Automotive supply
• Previous experience of working within a high volume, automotive manufacturing environment, coupled with the ability to work as an individual or as part of a team.
• Experience in a production planning and MRP based system with a high number of Sku’s and work cells.
• In depth knowledge of JIT and the Kanban method of production control
• In depth knowledge of all areas of materials logistics
• Sound understanding of Quality, Business and OEM systems/standards, e.g. TS16949 / Q1
• Proven leadership and management skills within a challenging environment
• Good knowledge of structured problem solving tools and methodologies
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal at all levels in local language and English
• Excellent presentation skills
• Good computer skills, conversant with Microsoft office
• Excellent motivator, self-starting, with an enthusiastic approach
