职位描述

Job Description:
1.Summary of Main Responsibilities
-Technical support of existing products including providing technical expertise to new or enhance product development projects
-Support for Medical Consumables sourcing projects from a technical standpoint
-Act both as an individual contributor through direct participation in project teams and as a management leader by overseeing engineers in the accomplishment of their activities.

2.Key Job Accountability
-Manages department operations and supervises a team of technical engineers.
-Participates in the development of policies, procedures and strategies to achieve specific goals.
-Interacts with subordinates, customers and suppliers at various management levels; may interact with senior management.
-Actively engage driving and resolving of technical and engineering matters and issues related to operations and/or projects.
-A key member of the management team to support new and existing suppliers' capability assessment and negotiation.

3.Other Responsibilities
-Technical support of existing products involves
-Identification, qualification and implementation of material and design changes affecting currently marketed SKU's.
-Identification of cost savings opportunities, based on industry knowledge and scientific and engineering expertise.
-Support for customer interaction: technical support for sales literature, customer calls and visits and problem resolution.
-Representing Cardinal Health on trade association committees and standards setting bodies (as expertise allows) to insure that Cardinal Health interests are heard and protected and also to bring back trends and information to the organization from networking and standards proposals.

4.Technical support for new and sustaining products
-Act as the subject matter expert on projects lead by the Project Management office or the NPD team.
-Providing specific industry and technology expertise to accelerate the time it takes to develop or to outsource next generation products-and product platforms that are new to Cardinal Health.
-Assist with test identification, test requests, analysis of results, protocol and report authorship.
-Support for Medical Consumables sourcing projects
-Understand the product features and indications for use, product benefits and claims.
-Provide recommendation in relation to Research Standards related to the product (ISO, ASTM, FDA guidance, USP, other).
-Provide guidance on competitor benchmarking, define key performance characteristics, and work closely with product marketing team to author the Cardinal Health product requirements and test validation plan.
-Support the benchmark testing including sourcing for internal or external parties to support the benchmarking test, summarize test results and deliver the conclusion to the project team.
-Assist with implementation plan.

Job Requirement:

-Master/Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Sciences.
-At least 10 years of related working experiences with minimum 5 years of demonstrated management experience in an MNC, preferably in a manufacturing or healthcare industry.
-Experience in a Technical management role at least 5 years in a related product R&D or Product & Process Development function.
-Good leadership skill and ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of members.
-Ability to drive multiple projects and achieve deliverables.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Possess sound track record on new product & platform development and implementation.
-Be a collaborative leader, strategic thinker and self-starter.
-Strong financial acumen with strategic thinking skill set.
