Experience
Minimum bachelor's degree Major in Material Science or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 7 years EOL experience in IC assy process or equipment field .
Special Skill/Competency
Required
Strong written communication skills in English / Engineering data analysis skill
Job Summary
Responsible for QFN molding process engineering, equipment performance, working to insure production quality/yield/output. Lead the engineering efforts to meet assigned process engineering, production and value engineering and quality metrics.
Main Responsibilities/
Accountabilities
Establish and manage EOL mold/Marking Engineering Program and Systems to provide World Class quality and yield and cost .
Plans, organizes, and supervises work of a staff of engineers and RTI operators to support production operations on a 24/7 basis.
Implement system installations to minimize production downtime and improve safety while being cost efficient.
Be able to analyze this data to drive continuous improvement in equipment and process performance.
Able to schedule Equipment and process modifications, prepares cost estimates, bid sheets and plan layouts.
Lead a team to design and conduct experiments throughout product manufacturing stages to characterize engineering process windows.
Confer with cross-functional teams to solve technical engineering process issues.
Drive continuous improvements in QFN product safety, efficiency, yield, cost, and manufacturability.
Manage change control process and operator training.
Utilize statistical process controls, semiconductor process controls and equipment, metrology and support equipment.
Authority Level
CET 4 above is perfect ; UG or CAD certification is perfect
Equipment/Materials/
Software
JMP ;CAD ; office software ; QC 7 tools ; mold compound knowledge or TOWA/Asahi/Daichi mold system experience is perfect
